September’s meeting will be a busy one after our summer break, and we can’t wait to welcome everyone back! We have a fun and informative evening planned, with plenty of orchids, raffles, and opportunities to catch up with fellow members.

Here’s What We Have Planned:

Bring a friend and receive an extra raffle ticket!

Membership Dues
Annual dues are payable in September. Members who pay their dues at the meeting will receive an extra raffle ticket!
Please make checks payable to Manatee Orchid Society.

- Single Membership: $25
- Family Membership: $30

Installation of Officers
Meet your newly installed Officers and Board of Directors.

Orchid ER — Rescue, Revive & Rebloom!
Before you give up on a struggling orchid, learn the secrets to diagnosing common problems, treating damaged plants, and encouraging beautiful blooms.

Bring your questions — and maybe even your “orchid patient!”

Please Note: To help protect everyone’s orchids, please transport your plant in a box or wrapped in newspaper. If you plan to trim or work on your orchid during the program, please bring your own sterilized tools.

Orchids for Sale
Our knowledgeable member and grower, Micah Dault, will have orchids and teak baskets available for purchase.

Show & Tell
Bring one of your blooming orchids to share with the group. Be sure to tell us its name!

Orchid Raffle
We will raffle off a selection of Plantio Orchids seedlings and unique crosses. With Plantio closing its nursery, this is a wonderful opportunity to acquire some of these special orchids!

Snacks & Refreshments
