🌺 MANATEE ORCHID SOCIETY 🌺

🌿 GUEST SPEAKER: MICHAEL SINN — CANAIMA ORCHIDS 🌿

We are excited to welcome Michael Sinn of Canaima Orchids as our guest speaker!

Michael has a special interest in Venezuelan Cattleya species—orchids that include some truly spectacular members of the Cattleya family.

His presentation will take us beyond simply growing these beautiful orchids as he explores the species themselves, their natural habitats, characteristics, breeding, and conservation.

For decades, Michael traveled throughout Brazil, Colombia, and Venezuela, studying these orchids in their natural habitats. Along the way, he witnessed the destruction of many natural environments and the very real risk of extinction faced by numerous orchid species. These experiences led him to commit himself to responsible cultivation and the conservation of natural ecosystems.

🏆 Canaima Orchids is internationally recognized for producing plants of exceptional quality, earning medals and certificates from orchid societies around the world.

Whether you love Cattleyas, grow species orchids, or simply want to better understand where these fascinating plants come from and how they grow in nature, this is a presentation you won't want to miss!

🌸 MICHAEL WILL ALSO HAVE ORCHIDS FOR SALE! 🌸

Michael will be bringing a selection of plants from Canaima Orchids, giving you the opportunity to shop directly from a grower who specializes in these remarkable orchids.

A big welcome to our newest members! Please be sure to introduce yourself, say hello, and help make them feel at home.
